Details:
• Continue lights on support for the current legacy MS Access solutions.
• Develop needed features and functions require to support sales order ingestion, T-minus reporting, request for quote and other features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues and code errors.
• Work independently within a small team.
• Develop in a .net and MS SQL environment
• Create interfaces to other systems
• Migration of data from legacy system to the new solution

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Experienced in web application development in a .net and MS SQL environment
• Relevant experience writing scripts that leverage API’s and SQL queries to obtain and relate data from various sources
• Hands-on experiences with writing SQL quires and stored procedures for a relational database (MS SQL server, Oracle)
• Team player with the ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Experience assessing needs from user stories and technical requirements and working through iterations until the desired result is obtained
• Those with knowledge of wireline telecommunication solutions (WAN. LAN, WiFi, VoIP, etc.) preferred.
• Must have Government of Canada reliability clearance and ability to obtain Secret II clearance. Secret II clearance preferred.

Education
• MS or BS in computer science or computer/software engineering.
• BS in computer science with equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience
• 5+ years’ experience as an application developer
• 3-5+ years’ experience with relational database (MS SQL server, Oracle)
• experience with agile development and those with DevOps expertise preferred
