The client's CE Service Communication & Billing Experience team supports millions of customer contacts every month and they are striving to build customer trust & engagement by providing timely, relevant, and clear communications. 

Responsibilities: 
• Identify new analytical opportunities based on business priorities 
• Translate business requirements into data specifications 
• Integrate different sources of data for ad-hoc analysis & data discovery 
• Write scripts/code/automation for data extraction and reporting 
• Provide data analytics which tie into actionable insights 
• Present analysis results and recommendations in business language 
• Provide weekly/monthly reporting and automate processes 

Key success metrics: 
• Increase digital adoption 
• Reduce call volume

Qualifications 

Required Skills & Abilities: 
• Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner for technical and non-technical team members, along with actionable insights. 
• Highly motivated, with a tendency to question existing assumptions and processes. 
• Takes ownership and is self-directed; able to effectively manage ambiguity and change 
• Ability to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment on high impact problems 

Required Knowledge: 
• Firm knowledge on data mining, report building, database architecture 
• Intermediate knowledge of SAS EG, SQL, Excel 
• Fundamental knowledge on data visualization using Tableau, DOMO 
• Extensive background working with telecom/call center data 
• Strong business acumen and financial/business case best practices 
• Sound knowledge of customer analytics, data warehousing, predictive modeling 

Preferred Knowledge: 
• Fundamental UNIX knowledge, automation, SFTP, servers 
• Fundamental knowledge and hands on experience working with Hadoop, Hive 

Required Professional Designation/Certification: 
• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines or equivalent experience 

Required Experience: 
• 3+ years in a data analyst role or related experience in telecom industry 
• 3+ years in a business intelligence, database marketing and data warehousing environment 
• 3+ years working with cross-functional teams including both technical and non-technical 
• Experienced in applying statistical and predictive models including constructing algorithms such as decision trees, regression, clustering, association, etc. 
• Experience working in fast-paced, continually changing environment

Must to have skills:
