This position is a full-time 1 year renewable contract 

What you’ll be responsible for: 
Be accountable for the overall management of our relationships with numerous vendors and strategic partners 
Develop, define, and evolve our partnership management framework 
Lead the process of regular reviews of our key vendor relationships (QBRs) 
Conduct and lead negotiations in partnership with the procurement team - bring the digital perspective on key terms and conditions and define appropriate negotiation strategies to achieve them 
Conduct market research to determine future relationship opportunities for client, and to ensure we are optimizing our value for money in our existing relationships 
Work closely with the client's procurement team on vendor selection, service agreement terms, vendor review, and performance metrics 
Support various strategic efforts across the digital team - be willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done for us to be successful 
Work with key stakeholders to translate complex challenges and opportunities into meaningful business stories 
Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization 

What you’ll need to be successful: 
With 5+ years in a relationship/vendor management or strategic sourcing roles, ideally within the Communications or High Tech industries with demonstrated performance and career progression, you are a seasoned professional 
You have experience with product and service contracts including service agreements 
You have a passion for building and maintaining strong relationships 
You are a strong negotiator with experience developing negotiation strategy and conducting negotiations 
Your experience defining and evaluating vendor performance through the use of SLAs, KPIs and scorecards allows you to maximize the value of the relationships you manage 
You possess a strong desire to roll your sleeves up and get things done - no task is beneath you, you are willing to do whatever it takes to be successful 
Using your natural ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and take charge of difficult situations, you are able to identify a set of options and make recommendations on a particular course of action, even in great uncertainty or stress 
You have experience navigating and partnering with a large and diverse stakeholder mix, and can thrive in a complex matrix organization 
You have a post-secondary degree in business, ideally a MBA
