The Contract Recruitment Team Lead will be responsible for the overall performance and effectiveness of his/her assigned team, ensuring that the contract recruitment activities are continuously and consistently providing sufficient support to the Sales, Operations and TalentCare teams @ emergiTEL. As a Contract Recruitment Team lead, you will also still be expected to perform your own personal recruitment initiatives and will have weekly/monthly/quarterly targets provided to you by the Recruitment Manager. Contract roles will continue to be assigned to you by the Recruitment Manager, and it is expected that you will service those needs at highest levels. As the “lead”, the segment of your overall daily responsibilities in a leadership capacity, should not exceed more than 30% of your total time.  Specific key performance indicators (KPI’s) will be assigned to the Team Lead to help motivate and encourage an effective leadership strategy and to ensure that this person is held accountable to not only their team’s successes but to team’s shortcomings as well. 
 
Responsibilities will include:
 
  • Lead a recruitment team in an environment that encourages quick thinking, aggressive sourcing skills and a proactive approach towards talent acquisition.
  • Consult with business leaders and/or the Recruitment Manager to identify recruitment needs and shortfalls to help create targeted and proactive recruitment strategies including segmented approaches where appropriate.
  • Together with the Recruitment Manager, you will develop and maintain recruitment metrics that align with organizational objectives, managing recruitment performance against established key metrics. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely reports are generated as required and responsible for running daily update meetings with your team to go over the day’s events and plan for the ones to come.
  • Support the staffing needs by partnering the Account Management team and the business leaders to drive talent acquisition plans and talent pools.
  • Coach and counsel recruitment team on sourcing techniques including complex search techniques, recruitment strategies, and consulting capability.
  • The potential requirement to manage a team of remote recruiters could potentially be a part of the lead role as well.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in talent acquisition including leveraging technology, social media, and industry networks.
  • Partnering with the Talentcare team while they engage with 3rd party sources, such as Access employment, varying job fairs and the colleges/universities, to ensure that your team is taking full advantage of these outside candidate sources.
  • Ensuring that the contract jobs brought in are filled, as per the company’s required fill ration, and client contractual submission SLA’s  are met
  • Support the Recruitment Manager with the sourcing of new internal team members and the subsequent assistance in the training of those new recruitment hires.
  • Open discussion with respect to his/her team’s overall performance and to work in collaboration with the Recruitment Manager on any disciplinary tasks that need immediate attention
  • The daily/weekly tracking of the team’s overall recruitment bandwidth and looking at the total number of roles assigned to the team, to ensure that AM expectations are met and that the quality of recruitment is not compromised.
  • Responsible for high level communication with the sales leaders regarding the team’s progress, consistent road blocks, trends in technology
 
Experience & Skillset required:
  • Recruitment Lead is required to have an up to date knowledge of skillset, technology and expertise required within technical staffing industry
  • Minimum 3 years of Technology or Telecom recruitment experience coupled with at least 2 years within an agency environment
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage conflicting demands from all areas of the business while ensuring recruitment process is kept in motion with a focus on providing positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively
  • Expertise in talent acquisition data, trends, market intelligence and social media engagement techniques
  • An effective contributor with the capabilities of not only managing their own personal recruitment work load but also spends sufficient time each day in monitoring the effectiveness of their team.
