Salesforce Systems Quality Analyst II 

Position Overview: 

The Client's Business Operations & Strategy Enablement team leverages Salesforce.com to support our Marketing, Sales, Implementation, Care, Assure and Data digital automation initiatives. Our team ensures that the business organization is maximizing the usage of our digital technology platforms to deliver on our customers' needs. 

Client's growing team is looking for an easy going, energetic and experienced individual to join us as a Systems Quality Analyst. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Business Operational Process & QA activities, is interested in expanding their existing skill set while working on exciting projects in a fast-paced environment, and is self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as in a team setting. 

Responsibilities: 
- Oversee all aspects of quality for the assigned feature under test and provide recommendations for improvements to user experience 
- Devise the best possible test plans for your assigned project(s) 
- Configure the test environment and setup test data to achieve solid and reliable test coverage 
- Execute test cases and work closely with other QA team members, developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve system and product issues 
- Execute system testing (functional, integration, regression, exploratory) 
- Responsible for defect tracking, reporting, resolution discussions and risk analysis 
- Participate in efforts to analyze, specify, and design testing for components in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 
- Assist in developing the Performance Testing Strategy and Performance Testing Plans 
- Develop and implements quality control procedures to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines 
- Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development life cycle 


Required Knowledge: 
- Strong knowledge in software quality assurance principles and practices including writing and execution of comprehensive test plans for acceptance, regression, functional, and stress testing; test strategy; and test matrix design 
- Knowledge of XML, JAVA, APEX and SOAP or related languages 
- Knowledge of COTS products for automating the execution of tests or developing their own test tools is desirable 
- Knowledge of CRM concepts and Salesforce.com is highly desirable 

Required Skills & Abilities: 
- Able to "hit the ground running" and utilize their extensive QA experience to test products effectively with minimal direction and limited supervision 
- Able to lead product quality from the front by building effective stakeholder relationships with business analysts, development, project managers, and end users 
- Capable of understanding complex features with limited specifications 
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in an environment with rapidly changing responsibilities and requirements 
- Able to prioritize their workload with minimal direction while taking into consideration the priorities of the department and organization as a whole 
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (not afraid to speak up if release/product does not meet internal quality requirements) 
- Capable of communicating effectively outside of QA for the purposes of gathering required information, communicating problems and achieving resolutions 
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to learn new information quickly 
- Attention to detail 

Required Professional Designation/Certification: 
- University degree or equivalent degree from a technical institute or college in the field of computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience 

Required Experience: 
- 3-5 years of work experience with manual testing in a fast paced QA environment 
- Experience working in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and aggressive timelines 
- Demonstrated experience with software quality assurance principles and practices including test planning, test strategy, test matrix design 
- Experience in an agile or iterative software development environment 
- Experience with Functional, Regression, and Performance Testing of Salesforce.com 
- Experience with automated testing is an asset

Must have skills:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in software quality assurance principles and practices including writing and execution of comprehensive test plans for acceptance, regression, functional, and stress testing; test strategy; and test matrix design
2. Able to "hit the ground running" and utilize their extensive QA experience to test products effectively with minimal direction and limited supervision
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

ice to have skills:
1. Preferably experience with testing for Salesforce.com Sales or Service Cloud CRM.
2. Ideally experience with the implementation of a Quoting/Contract Management System (CPQ)
3. Possess an understanding of sales, marketing, care (support) processes
