Participate in Test Strategy, Planning and Closure 
Verify application test analysis and design deliverables 
Provide detailed QA estimates 
Review and understand cross-system impacts 
Assist with identification of test environment and test data requirements 
Develop test cases/scripts and associated project deliverables, execute test cases, scripts, defect tracking, verify readiness, conduct root cause analysis where appropriate 
Provide sign-off for responsible components 

Responsibilities: 
• Working with the Salesforce team, oversee all aspects of quality for the assigned feature under test and provide recommendations for improvements to user experience 
• Devise the best possible test plans for your assigned project(s) 
• Configure the test environment and setup test data to achieve solid and reliable test coverage. 
• Execute test cases and work closely with other QA team members, developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve system and product issues. 
• Execute system testing (functional, integration, regression, exploratory). 
• Responsible for defect tracking, reporting, resolution discussions and risk analysis. 
• Assist in developing the Performance Testing Strategy and Performance Testing Plans 
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines. 
• Conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development life cycle. 


Required Knowledge & Experience 
• 3-5 years of work experience with manual testing in a fast paced QA environment 
• 2+ years of work experience with Salesforce 
• Experience working in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and aggressive timelines. 
• Demonstrated experience with software quality assurance principles and practices including test planning, test strategy, test matrix design. 
• A strong background in software quality assurance principles and practices including writing and execution of comprehensive test plans for acceptance, regression, functional, and stress testing; test strategy; and test matrix design. 
• Experience in an agile or iterative software development environment. 
• Experience with Functional, Regression, and Performance Testing of Salesforce.com 
• Knowledge of XML, JAVA, APEX and SOAP or related languages 
• Experience with automated testing is an asset. 
• Knowledge of COTS products for automating the execution of tests or developing custom test tools is desirable 
• Broad knowledge of CRM concepts and Salesforce.com is highly desirable.

• Able to prioritize workload with minimal direction while taking into consideration the priorities of the department and organization as a whole 
• Strong verbal and written communications skills (our team is spread across several locations); must be able to clearly detail issues if release/product does not meet internal quality requirements 
• Capable of communicating effectively outside of QA for the purposes of gathering required information, communicating problems and achieving resolutions 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to learn new information quickly. 
• Attention to detail 
• Goal oriented self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision and has an appetite for continuous learning 
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

Required Professional Designation / Certification 
• University degree or equivalent degree from a technical institute or college in the field of computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Must have skills: (please at least 3 skills/exp): 1. 3- 5 years QA experience, at least 1 – 2 years SFDC QA experience across the Salesforce platform 2 Demonstrated experience with software quality assurance principles and practices including test planning, test strategy, test matrix design 3. Strong verbal and written communications skills (our team is spread across several locations); must be able to clearly detail issues if release/product does not meet internal quality requirements 4. Self-motivated and able to test effectively with minimal direction and limited supervision
