THE ROLE:
You will use your expertise to plan, manage and deliver large development program for one of our financial clients from its downtown Toronto office.  Moreover, oversees relationships with other departments and partner with business and executive stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business (LOB)
  • Provides and creates program artifacts throughout the PMLC from Ideation to closure
  • Monitors program health continuously and engages management as required if project health changes
  • Monitor program performance and act as a point of contact for escalations and other issues as required
  • Anticipates and effectively manages risks as per enterprise guidelines
WHO YOU ARE:
You are a talent with strong knowledge in delivery of Banking and Financial Industry related projects and programs. Possess domain knowledge of specifically Treasury, Trading and Hedging. More importantly, you’re technical enough to be comfortable in Techno functional role. You know what needs to be done, how to get it done and you have the drive to do so in a challenging environment representing our client in front of our customers.

 
MUST HAVE:
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management including Agile Methodologies
  • 2+ years of experience in managing end-to-end delivery of large program ($5M to $10M)
  • 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Advanced knowledge of bank and technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective and managing/ directing teams and application support
  • Expert in providing program reporting, including technology spend, and ad-hoc analysis and presents issues requiring attention by senior management
  • Proven record of Identifies discrepancies between financial forecasts and actuals; adjusts scope, schedule or budget as appropriate
  • Proven business acumen: strategic thinking, business process development, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to address sponsor and steering committee review boards (which includes "C" level within the organization)
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a shared resource environment
  • Advanced and thorough understanding of businesses and/or organizational practices/ disciplines
  • Understanding of regulatory governing bodies such as PCI, SOX, COBIT
  • Proven ability to strategically think and execute
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
