Client's IT Tier II team is presently looking for a high-performing full time fully bilingual individual with strong work ethics and superior technical aptitudes. This dynamic team provides real time support to multiple external clients across Canada and internationally. 
The successful candidate must be available to work 7x24 shift rotation. 


Responsibilities: 

The work consists of a wide variety of platforms, technologies, and roles: 
Windows desktop support (all versions) 
Windows server support (all versions) 
UNIX/Linux server support 
Oracle 
Network support TecT 
Managed Security support 
2 factor authentication system (eg. RSA SecurID and Cryptocard) 
Netbackup application support 


Technical Knowledge Requirements: 
Windows 2003/2012//7/8/10 
Desktop support 
Active Directory 2003/2008/2012 
MS Exchange 
UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems 
Networking, including knowledge in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN 
Powershell & UNIX scripting an asset 
Cisco FirePower 
Checkpoint 
Juniper 
NGFW 
PaloAlto 
NetBackup 
TippingPoint 
IPS monitoring 


Required Skills & Abilities: 
Ability to prioritize and multitask work 
Ability to perform job functions under stress and pressure 
Ability to adapt to new technologies 
Experience working on central helpdesk teams 
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English 
Excellent customer service skills 


Required Professional Designation/Certification: 

Certifications: Must have and maintain one or more of the following valid certification(s) 
Microsoft 
Oracle OCA / OCP 
Cisco CCENT/CCNA 
Checkpoint 
PaloAlto 
Juniper 

***Special requirement***: 
Must be able to obtain and maintain a GoC Level II (Secret) clearance
