Job Description: 

- Support local teams & show guidance on trouble shooting of general & specific problems of postpaid/prepaid roaming, GPRS & MMS inter-working.
- Build the necessary communication requirements among different department (IN, Billing & CS/PS Core) within the Engineering & IT teams
- Responsible for maintaining all test faults & consult with different department to rectify during the testing period
- Provide other departments with International roaming information upon request.
- Perform SIGOS GloablRoamers proactive testing as well as test and troubleshoot operational roaming problems
- Investigate all kinds of International/National Roaming customer complaints through call tracing and other tools
- Strong knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE signaling (i.e. IuCS, IuPS, GSM MAP, CAMEL, ISUP, SIP, S1AP, SGs, GTPv1, GTPv2, Sy, …)
- Capture and analyze traces of the different network elements (HLR, MSS, SGSN, GGSN, HSS, MME, SGW, PGW…)
- Check and update Roaming Partners SIM database inventory for future possible troubleshooting
- Provide ad-hoc support to rest of team within same department when needed
- Perform IREG tests (IR24, IR35, IR32, IR38 …) using roaming partners SIMs, as well as support roaming partners with outbound tests before the commercial launch
- Troubleshoot issues discovered during IREG testing and raise them to the appropriate team either internally (CS/PS/IN Engineering, NOC, Operation, …) or externally (SS7 signaling providers, interconnect carriers and Roaming Partners, …)
- Develop documentation for Managing multiple roaming partners & also for providing other department with necessary information for implementation
- Assist TADIG team to troubleshoot problems & guide them with necessary information based on the CAMEL protocol & latest TAP versions
