Position Overview: 

The client PureFibre Community Strategy, Planning and Execution Experiential Marketing team has over 60 Brand Ambassadors across 6 regions including, Northern Alberta, Southern Alberta, Interior BC, Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island and is currently seeking a mature individual to help support and lead one of these teams. 

Successful individuals will provide team support in the following way: 

1. Team communication: Under the direction of the Street Team Project Manager II, you will be the primary single point of contact for the Street Team in your assigned region. You will also work to improve team member engagement through regular emails, phone calls, team meetings. 

2. Training and Coaching: As the team lead, you will take responsibility for facilitating the initial training of new team members about client Pure Fibre, brand guide lines, event support expectations and door warming requirements. Additionally, you will provide ongoing coaching, both onsite in the moment and in collaboration with key stakeholders on identified opportunities. 

3. Team Engagement: Through communication, ongoing coaching and other opportunities, you will help engage team members, ensuring a continued passion for client and help support employee retention. 

4. Operations: You will be responsible for supporting the day to day operations for the team, including managing scheduling issues (shift assignment, cancellations, etc.), managing logistics of shipping for event activations (collateral gifts, clothing, etc.), reporting collection (door warming, post event surveys, etc.) and other duties as assigned. Attend weekly Street Team Leads meeting led by the Street Team Project Manager II. 

5. Local Event Execution: You will attend events, speak to current and potential client customers about our products and services, help manage engagement activities and keep the overall look of the event table/booth up to client brand standards. This shift will include event set-up and tear down. 

6. Door Warming Participation: Leading through example, you will also participate in door warming, meeting our customers, or potential customers, at their homes to deliver a gift and a message on behalf of the client PureFibre team This role does not include sales, but an opportunity to inform the public about our products & services.. 

NOTE: This role requires access to a vehicle. 

Flexible Hours 

The number of hours required per week will be dependent on event schedules, but you are guaranteed 15 or more hours, up to 37.5 hours per week, based on event schedules, team needs and operational duties.

• Work client events and/or door warming as required 
• Arrange pick up/delivery of collateral, swag, gifts or event equipment as required. 
• Distribute schedule among the team and ensure event coverage. 
• Provide initial training and orientation for new team members, and ongoing training for the team at large as required. 
• Ensure timely reporting as required from team members in attendance at events. 
• Act as a liaison between the team and the manager, providing feedback, helping to identify opportunities and being the in-field “eyes and ears” 
• Work with the Street Team Project Manager II to increase Street Team engagement through regular communication, feedback, check-in’s etc. 
• Attend weekly Street Team Lead meeting

Required Professional Designation/Certification: 

• High school completion 
• Some post-Secondary education (i.e. Marketing, Sales) 

Required Experience: 
• A year or two of event, sales or customer service experience 

Must to have skills:
1. Strong orientation towards process and detail.
2. Passion for outstanding customer service, sales and leading a small team
3. Event and Brand Ambassador Experience

Nice to have skills:
1. Technical savvy – an understanding of wireless communications or aptitude to quickly learn it
