Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and customer-focused tester to lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) throughout our agile software release cycle, working closely with our product owners, developers, QA, customer support and other technical team members. This includes creating and executing all aspects of UAT across multiple application interfaces, including the support of small and large projects that require testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all UAT activities on our client IQ application, including the creation and execution of test cases to support the delivery of the application throughout our agile release process. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated and entrepreneurial with demonstrated testing experience in complex agile environments, including but not limited to test case creation, testing execution, effective regression testing, automated testing, creating and maintaining documentation, and post-case and post-release analysis. With a keen eye for detail, the successful candidate will operate with an ownership mentality to ensure that test cases reflect the customer experience and that bugs and identified, logged and managed accurately and quickly. 

• Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing for a cutting-edge business application, including the creation and day to day management of our UAT testing program 
• Participate in an exciting agile and scrum software development environment 
• Seek opportunities to optimize our User Acceptance Testing program based on SaaS industry best practices and principles 
• Contribute to our Voice of Customer program 
• Meet with customers occasionally to understand the User, and how our customers are leveraging the application to drive value for their businesses 
• Support small and large projects that require regression testing and support 
• Liaise with product owners, developers, customer support and operations team members to contribute to the overall customer experience and continuous improvement of our product and process 

What you bring to the table 

• A track record of delivering high quality software products in an agile software development environment across multiple application interfaces 
• Experience supporting B2B software application testing in agile environments, including understanding of Agile and Scrum principles 
• A Customers First orientation and a history of going above and beyond to ensure delivery high quality software products 
• Technical fluency, and ability to translate technical concepts into business value and customer outcomes 
• Effective written and oral communication skills to partner with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and to be able to quickly identify, log and manage defects through successive agile sprint releases 
• Collaborative approach to partnering with and supporting product owners and technical stakeholders 
• Past experience and familiarity with Quality Assurance, product development lifecycle 

Required Professional Designation/Certification: 
• University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Commerce 
• MBA is an asset 
Required Experience: 
• 3-5 years of User Acceptance Testing, with a background in Quality Assurance 
• Demonstrated experience testing in agile environments
