BSS Maintenance Specialist -

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform acceptance , operation and maintenance of Node B’s and related field network elements such microwave radios, battery cabinets, all cabling and connectors
• Execute activities related to Trouble Tickets and Work Orders • Respond to dispatch as required during service hours and on-call periods
• Action page-outs and assigned trouble tickets to minimize outage times and maintain defined MTTR SLA
• Understanding of BSS KPI’s in relation to impact on call delivery 
• Understanding of basic UTRAN signaling relative to call delivery 
• Manage assigned inventory such as vehicles, tools, test equipment & spares 
• Manage Repair and Return activity for faulty units 
• Capability to hook-up (Cam Plug), start and maintain on-site Generators 
• Capability to support set up configuration, integration and put into service COW’s and COLT’s 
• Minimize the time response to solve problems 
• Report on activity and fault resolution for sites and related equipment 
• Support call testing and verification at site locations 
• Follow the O&M procedures as defined 
• Perform all required Preventative Maintenance routines and periodic test procedures 
• Maintain site to ensure tidiness, identify and report any obstructions or policy violations affecting the serviceability of the site that require action 
• Maintain rules for access as defined in the terms of the lease 
• Support projects and project meetings to provide input and understand expectations
• Capable of climbing ladders, lifting 50 pounds or more and able to work outside in all seasons.
