Web Application Developer – Risk / SCCL (74264-1)

In this role you will have a positive impact in ensuring client compliance and risk management abilities to satisfy the SCCL demands for exposures by the regulators. You will work closely with the Enterprise Risk Management Business and Enterprise Risk IT, with a focus on Credit Risk Measurement and Analytics, to improve capabilities of IT systems and quality of data used for this purpose.

What will you do?
•    Build web portal that supports analysis and drilldown of credit risk exposures.  
•    This includes both OSFI and Federal Reserve related risk reporting.
•    Build a final report in FED specified format
•    Build counterparty management interface
•    Build limit management interface
•    Build and / or contribute to common framework, visualization tools for data analytics, lineage, and metadata in Risk Data Layer.  
•    Engage with business sponsors to ensure the functional and non-functional requirements of risk analysis and reporting are met via the risk web portal.
•    Code, test and implement the front-end solution to meet business requirements
•    Contribute to team discussions and stand-ups

Must-have
•    University degree in Business/Science/Financial/Engineering or related discipline.
•    5+ years of experience in Java (Java core, Maven , JUnit)
•    4+ years of experience, advanced knowledge, and understanding of web application development (Spring core, Spring MVC, REST API, Design Patterns).
•    Strong development experience on User Interface (HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap).
•    Experience in building highly analytical and responsive web application which supported enterprise level risk and stress reporting. Good knowledge of Reporting, Data Hierarchy and Data Aggregation.
•    Experience in Linux shell scripting and SQL
•    Strong analytical skill set, to have the ability to transform business goals into requirements
•    Experience with system development life cycle (SDLC) and IT Methodologies, such as Agile/Waterfall development approach.

Must Have:
• Experience in Java (Java core, Maven , JUnit)
• Advanced knowledge, and understanding of web application development (Spring core, Spring MVC, REST API, Design Patterns).
• Strong development experience on User Interface (HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap).

Nice-to-have
•    Experience with reporting and analytic tools like Tableau
•    Enterprise Credit Risk reporting
•    Experience with Hadoop and Big Data technology stack
•    Experience with Microservices development
