 We have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud ERP Technical Lead in our Calgary office reporting to the ERP Team Lead. ERP Technologies is responsible for the implementation and sustainment of cloud enabled technologies that deliver business capabilities to client’s Finance, Supply Chain and Operations teams, focused on increasing productivity, lowering costs, and risk management.
 
In a dynamic, fast paced environment, a Technical Lead’s role is to take projects that align closely with business strategy from original concept through to final implementation and sustainment by contributing to the development of strong project plans, while leading cross-functional multi-disciplined resources through the execution of the plans to deliver technical solutions.
 
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to technical and business teams
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs
  • Lead solution design, prototyping, development, and deployment of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflow Customization (RICEW) to the Cloud Oracle ERP and Oracle WMS Cloud (aka LogFire 8.0 & 9.0)
  • Understand application configuration in support of functional requirements
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex system and user issues and coordinate issue resolution efforts across peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors as needed Bottom of Form
  • Go-live planning and cutover
  • Participate and contribute to the Tool and Technology Selection Process
  • Manage technical Problems & Troubleshooting
  • Working Effectively with Oracle Cloud Support and other service partners
  • Environment and Release Management
  • Oversight of internal technical team resources
  • Promote Agile practices and help drive consistent development practice, including tools, common components and documentation
  • Conduct code reviews, code merges and deployments to various environments
  • Identify, assess, recommend, and implement modern development and Continuous Integration technologies and practices to increase team’s effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Work with cross-functional senior stakeholders and business partners to successfully deliver projects on time and with highest quality.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience with designing and implementing SOA based enterprise integrations
  • Degree from college/university in a related field
  • Three years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, including OSB, ODI, BPEL, ADFdi, OAF and WebLogic
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ICS (Integration Cloud Services), Oracle MFT (Managed File Transfer) Cloud
  • Technical understanding of Active Directory, SAML, PGP/GPG, VPN and Networking
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux 
  • Experience with integrating Oracle based products such as ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, and other PaaS services
  • Proven experience with end to end Oracle ERP implementation projects
  • 10 years plus experience in Oracle EBS
  • Experience working in complex integrated systems
  • Oracle Certifications will be considered an asset
  • Familiar with AIM, OUM or other Project Management Methodologies
  • Salesforce & Quoting Knowledge are a plus
