Technical Talent Acquisition Consultant (Tech Recruiter) 

6 month term (June to end of November) can be located in either Scarborough (preferred), Burnaby or Edmonton. 

Role/Responsibilities. 

• Deliver full cycle recruitment supporting technology groups – IT (development, support, infrastructure, networking, and engineering 
• Providing exceptional candidate and hiring leader experience 
• Trusted Advisor and Partner to business and technology leaders: Understand the business and its culture, advise on talent, create and lead recruitment strategies 
• Expert in your field: Source qualified candidates, facilitate and drive selection processes and talent decisions, and provide market intelligence 
• Customer experience advocate: Ensure positive hiring and candidate experiences for all 
• Ambassador of our culture: Partner and nurture relationships internally and with external job seekers, services, associations, and schools 
• Analytics specialist: Compile and interpret recruiting data, ensure compliance with hiring policies and practices 

Requirements 
• Well-versed in various functional IT and engineering and associated technologies 
• Strong collaboration skills, influencing and negotiation skills 
• Expert ability to draw out real requirements and set expectations 
• Understanding of IT and engineering roles and emerging technologies/trends 
• 3 or more years of technical recruitment experience in a corporate and/or agency environment 
• A Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experie
