The Marketing Specialist for the Channel GTM & Adoption team is responsible for developing, coordinating and executing a marketing event strategy to advance the client brand and increase market penetration through flawless delivery and project management of best-in-class event experiences. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will help to identify unique opportunities to deliver against business objectives while ensuring that every customer touch point provides an unparalleled customer experience. You will understand the necessary requirements that are essential to developing a plan from concept through to activation. 

• Manage and execute a broad range of sales-focused and recruitment events to increase penetration of client products and services. 
• Collaborate and work with cross-functional internal and external teams to help establish objectives, achieve one look, one feel, one brand, advance timelines, escalate issues as required, build consensus, and motivate to deliver best-in-class integrated events. 
• Foster relationships with key internal and external partners to protect and enhance client's reputation and ensure our company continues to be seen as a community leader. 
• Liaise between 3rd party organizers, sale teams and trade marketing teams. 
• Leverage market knowledge and market research to identify sales opportunities. 
• Attend events and facilitate events set up and tear down. 
• Navigate timelines carefully, proactively and effectively, communicates across project teams to advance milestones. 
• Travel as required throughout the year.

Required Skills & Abilities 
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs 
Required Professional Designation/Certification 
• A university degree in a Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience. 

Required Experience 
Two to four years in a public relations, marketing or event marketing position
