Project Coordinator

Construction/Deployment Accountabilities:
  • Manage/Coordinate small to medium projects under Project Manager Supervision.
    • West LTE/3G
    • New Market Launch
    • B7 & B13 Coverage
  • Power upgrade, Optimization, FPOP and Re-Roofing Projects, Hydro requests
  • Coordinate Leased line
  • Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communications.
  • Coordinate accurate, up-to-date reporting of project status, scheduling, and planning.
  • Assist management in understanding the business results by comparing and analyzing plans with actuals.
  • Increase accuracy of the data by taking corrective actions, if required. 
  • Maintain Departmental Processes and Procedures.
  • Attend weekly Rollout (Real Estate/Construction/Deployment) meetings.
  • Track receipt and issuance of purchase orders.
  • Review new PR/PO requests based on approval procedures.
  • Provide accurate PR/PO Forecast & Status reports.
  • Coordinate delivery timeline and follow up with A&E service vendors between RE and Construction.
  • Acquire the necessary approvals for cheque requests for the Deployment team.
  • Interface and coordinate with Construction team for Construction/Deployment schedule(s).
  • Interface with Hydro companies to acquire Hydro contracts and accounts.
  • Send out invitations and schedule meetings.
  • Lead permit expiration tracking for all Real Estate Complete sites and report on upcoming expirations if construction is not scheduled to occur prior to permit expiration.
  • Ensure CX team Site Share DB inputs construction start dates and electrical start dates for sites with construction underway.
  • Track and submit signed NavCan Construction Complete forms when construction is completed. Provide Back-up support for Manager and Team member
 
 
Skills/Qualifications:
 
  • University degree
  • PMP Certified or working towards it
  • Specific wireless telecom coordination experience preferred  
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player and individual contributor
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
