This position sits within the Products and Services team at client, a results oriented, learning based organization that lets you jump right in and take on some of our most challenging projects that will stretch your skills and help you grow. Simply put, as part of the Products and Services team at client, your job is to bring cross functional teams together to solve business problems. You will develop your talents in project management, process design and re-engineering, leading without direct authority, and structured problem solving methods. Role: Product Manager II – Home Automation and Home Security

What You Bring to the Table 
• Leadership skills with the ability to drive cross functional teams without direct authority to define, develop and launch of new products and processes. 
• Project manage all phases of the product development life cycle leveraging a customer-centric lens and with a focus on the client journey. 
• The ability to effectively drive change in large organizations within an establish culture. 
• Understand innovations in self and professional monitored security industry’s with focus on monetization and value generation for customers and TELUS. 
• Develop and drive recommendations related to go to market, product and partner strategies related to a smart home security solutions through effective communications, selling ideas and influencing without authority. 
• Build strong relationships with vendors and partners (internal and external) required to bring a smart home security service to market and evolve the offering over time. 
• Identify and establish key metrics to evaluate and monitor vendors and partnerships, as well as product quality, reliability and adoption. 
• Data analytics skills; ability to creatively collect data, analyses and structure problems and develop recommendations – the ability to see the story behind the numbers. 

• Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science 
• Experience in the professional monitored security industry 
• Experience in the Smart or Connected Home industry an asset 
• Experience with Agile methodologies 
• PMP or MBA designation an asset
