Position Overview: 

As a member of the Strategic Alliances team, you will work with Cisco and internal stakeholders to provide sales support and drive profitability and increase win rates for our client Business Solutions sales teams. You will provide tactical sales support by ensuring we are utilizing all available channel partner programs to drive deal profitability and help the client team succeed. 

This role is ideally suited for an individual possessing experience with Cisco’s deal registration programs, an attention to detail, an analytical mind, strong communications skills, the ability to leverage systems and numbers to tell a story, and has a passion to grow within a small team. 

Responsibilities: 
• Level 1 Pre-Sales Support 
o Directly assist client Sales with Deal registration and Quote Creation 
o Follow up on pending requests with client team members and/or Cisco. 
o Actively engage Sales teams to support / build the Funnel for Cisco Opportunities 
o Provide assistance with client & Cisco Order Fulfillment Process 
o Build, Support, Coordinate, Present Pre-Sales Training as requested & required 
o Support client OneSource Pages Content Management – provide data and content building with Product Managers. 

• Pipeline/Funnel Management 
o Provide Cisco Deal Registration reporting and opportunity review as needed. 
o Provide Margin Enhancement Reporting. 
o Perform analysis on Cisco CCW deal entries and SFDC to identify opportunities for deal registration or incremental discounts 
o Work with Product Management to ensure key opportunities are registered. 
o Contribute to Cisco QBR’s (Quarterly Business Reviews) 
o Build Cisco Mindshare at client  

• Administration (Status and Time Reporting) 
o Provide monthly milestone report on key tasks/accomplishments. 
o Attend trainings on new programs and promotions releases 
o Complete weekly time reporting requirements 

•Note: Travel subject upon review of Product Manager and Team Manager 

Qualifications 

Required Knowledge: 

• 3+ years of experience with Cisco deal registration programs and tools including OIP, TIP, certification compliance, partner funding, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, their channels, and their ability to support client GTM programs and initiatives 
• Solutions and Products: General and practical knowledge of solutions and products for both the partner and client is an asset 
• ICT Industry: General and practical knowledge of ICT industry and evolution is an asset 
Required Skills & Abilities: 
• Project & Program Management Skills: 
o Must be able to manage and follow up on multiple concurrent requests. 
• Marketing and Competitive Analysis Skills: 
o Ability to gather, document, and analyze market information including competitive threats 
o Understanding of the competitive channel environment and strategies 
• Communications: 
o Written and oral communication skills, including reporting and presenting across a broad scope of internal and external audiences 
o Bilingualism is an asset. 
Required Professional Designation/Certification: 
• Post-secondary degree in engineering, computer science, business, or Information Technology 
Required Experience: 
• 5+ years of sales, sales support, marketing, project management or product management experience in IT, telecommunication services 
• Data analysis experience 
• Awareness of technology trends and potential influence of future client solutions and services is an asset 
• Prior Partner or Customer facing experience is an asset 

Must to have skills:
1. Cisco Deal Registration Programs and Tools 2 5+ Years of sales support in the IT/Telecommunication industry
2. Clear and effective communicator both for negotiating as well as presenting information.

Nice to have skills:
