Position Overview: 

The THPS Business Operations & Strategy Enablement team is a shared service team that leads the core Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Assure and Care (Customer Experience Teams) business process automation strategies within client Health. Salesforce.com is the client Health’s CRM of choice, leveraging platform customization over the last several years to ensure it meets our ever changing business and stakeholder’s needs. We enable our business to support the needs of external customers within our EMR, Pharmacy, Health Benefits Management market segments. 

Our team is comprised of a cross-functional group of professionals with varying backgrounds and levels of experience. We are spread across the country, all working remotely, but still have a strong team culture and engagement. As a Salesforce.com developer on our team, you will be responsible for implementing key components of a new and exciting IT roadmap to advance our Client Relationship Management (CRM) strategy, primarily for the Customer Experience (CE) Team. Using Salesforce.com (SFDC) Service Cloud and other applications, you will support the team to transform design solutions into a working deliverable. You will provide design, development and test support for the project. You will be expected to learn the current architecture our SFDC org and develop your solutions to work within that, or be able to adapt your solutions to ensure they function properly within it. You will not be afraid to present new and innovative solutions to the business challenges presented - and will be open and adaptable to other points of view or ideas. You will be a self-starter, who can work with little direct over-sight. You must have an exceptional work ethic, taking significant pride in the quality of your work and timely, efficient delivery. 


Responsibilities and Expectations: 
• Independently perform development, testing, implementation, and documentation as it relates to Salesforce.com software and Force.com platform, specifically Service Cloud. 
• Design and implement enhancements including the creation of custom objects, Apex classes, triggers, workflows. 
• Design, develop and maintain VisualForce, AppExchange, Force.com pages and integration with on premise or third party solutions (such as Coveo) using Web Services. 
• Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. 
• Create and document technical requirements, design specifications, and unit/integration test plans for functional and technical completeness and accuracy. 
• Perform declarative configuration work as required to support business needs. 
• Must ensure availability and completion of work during core business hours (9 AM-5 PM in your respective time zone) with adjustments as required to support after hours deployments. 
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of your code against the business requirements outlined in the applicable user stories. 
• Apply our client Health SFDC coding standards to all deliverables. 

Required Knowledge & Experience 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development on the Salesforce.com platform. 
• Application development using: APEX, Visual Force, Lightning, HTML, Java Script, SQL other programming languages 
• Salesforce.com Service Cloud implementations, enhancements and integration 
• Salesforce app exchange product implementations 
• Know what Agile methodologies are and how to use them, and be accepting to work with a team that is transitioning to this method of working (from Waterfall) 
• Possess an understanding of sales, marketing, care (support) processes 
• Database query and scripts. 
• Knowledge of Coveo and integration with SFDC Service Cloud is desirable.

Required Professional Designation / Certification 
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience 
• Certified SFDC Developer

Must have skills: (please at least 3 skills/exp):
1. Minimum of 3 years as a SFDC system developer with APEX and Visual Force
2. Self-starter, able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, meet tight deadlines and tolerate change and ambiguity
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Strong work ethic and commitment to the role – we do not want contractors that are working other contracts at the same time.

Nice to have skills: (please at least 3 skills/exp):
1. Ideally experience with the implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, leveraging Salesforce Knowledge
2. Possess an understanding of customer technical support team processes
3. Familiar with the implementation of the Coveo application.
