Site Support Engineer

To assist and enable the IT Site Support team to provide technical and professional assistance to customers on site. To complete customer requests for assistance in a timely and professional manner.
•                     Management of ‘ServiceNow’ calls to ensure SLA’s are met
•                     Assist in the administration of the existing desktop computing   systems and assist with communications network.
•                     Respond to virus alerts in order to assist in maintaining a virus free     environment.
•                     Infrastructure upgrade or project work as scheduled.
•                     Contribute to the ServiceNow knowledge base.
•                     Ensure site computer room(s) are well maintained and monthly checklists are completed.

Key Skills:

                       Demonstrated technical understanding of a broad range IT infrastructure environments.
•                     Strong understanding and ability to provide an effective customer service.
•                     Relevant technical knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite of products.
•                     Relevant technical knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
•                     Relevant technical knowledge of IT infrastructure.
•                     Ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware faults.
•                     Desirable: sound knowledge of network infrastructure and basic network troubleshooting.
                      Minimum 2 years’ experience in providing second level IT support
