Position Overview: 
Clients' Retail Ltd is looking for a Marketing Specialist with exceptional attention to detail, who is a self directed individual with strong project management skills to join the Merchandising Strategy & Execution Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the client Online Merchandising System and will be able to understand how important the accuracy of allocations are to properly execute marketing and program strategies in our retail channels. The Marketing Specialist role encompasses a range of retail merchandising responsibilities underpinned as the allocation prime and will work collaboratively with the merchandising team to create dynamic digital & print messaging land in-store and in window, to recommend product and/or messaging placement throughout the store and elevate products in a compelling way for our customers. 

Create print merchandising allocations using Online Merchandising System (OMS) to communicate all required print components to in-store teams 
Lead and evolve our OMS allocation strategy for our retail channel merchandising; including regular training points with our OMS vendor when system enhancements are built/released 
Develop and manage marketing allocations for the Channel leveraging device, print and digital merchandising mapping, and execute appropriately based on various store concepts 
Respond to and provide solutions for incoming questions or concerns regarding allocations of merchandise from stakeholders & field teams 
Proactively identify potential allocation opportunities and conduct random audits 
Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their specific needs, communicate program details, and provide recommendations for execution and enhancements of future programs 
Be nimble and be able to launch competitive responses with our in store messaging for most efficient turnaround times


Required Knowledge: 
1 - 3 years experience with in-store marketing position in a retail environment 
Post Secondary diploma / certificate in Database Management is an asset 
Strong understanding of in-store merchandising retail principles 
Strong understanding of OMS 
Knowledge of client Mobility and Home Solutions services is an asset
