Job Description:
Key Responsibilities/Job Functions:

•       Perform daily tasks affiliated with the S/VOD Asset Management on the VOD platform
•       Ensure all standard levels of productivity are met
•       Mastering Cross Functional On Demand Platforms (SVOD & ROD)
•       Network Troubleshooting Management S/VOD Assets
•       Program VOD offers, based upon contracts & agreements received
•       Ensure that all content is following a correct and timely process for Network Introduction, Security, Propagation, & Release
•       Generating & Distribution of  Daily Reports; Content, Propagation, Server Capacity & Archiving
•       QA of all metadata entries, both pre & post prodcution servers
•       Interact with internal and external associated groups
•       Actively participates on all projects related to the VOD platform such as  upgrades, modifications, augmentations etc
•       Proactively monitor the end to end performance of specific areas of platform and will provide case studies and recommendations based on findings
•       Works to achieve a high level of Security on the VOD platform by minimizing the vulnerabilities by following guidelines from the vendors and Engineering
•       Assists with the development of all documentation including build books, methods of procedure, backup procedures, OAMP (Operations, Administration, Maintenance and Provisioning)

•       Certification in CISCO certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent industry recognized program would be an asset.
•       Understanding of core networks, TCP/IP, SONET, DWDM, CISCO and Juniper Routers and other transport networks would be an asset.
•       LINUX/UNIX experience would be an asset
•       Understand process improvement and/or continuous improvement (preferably in the telecommunication or broadband service industry)
•       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•       Willing to work flexible shifts and schedules.
•       Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
