Experience / Skills needed for the job function :
  • Experience in the IT project delivery function; proven success developing and implementing solutions within a complex multi-stakeholder organization
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in project management best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize technology of complex, new, in-conception and/or unknown complexity
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in banking domain.
  • Proven experience and capability to contribute to the decision-making needed to introduce substantial technology and process change/transformation into an IT organization and the associated business community. Clearly demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment and the capability to drive issues to closure, making recommendations from a strategic point of view including the development of policies, standards and core processes for projects within the organization
  • Ability to recognize symptoms that indicate problems and manage client’s perceived view/assessment of business risks appropriately
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Project
  • Relationship Alliance Building – A track record of building strong relationships with internal clients and external business partners
  • Planning and Organizing – Experience managing business expectations, leading project review meetings, managing and setting priorities as appropriate
  • Communication Skills – Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication and documentation skills
  • 8+  years in a project management role
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline
  • PMP designation required
