Position Overview 
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join the client Brand & Customer Experience team supporting Small Business. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing and supporting the Event strategy by working in collaboration with key stakeholders from the Small Business Sales and Marketing, Brand & Customer Experience, Product and Channel teams. You’ll also work closely with our valued agency and in house creative partners in order to bring the event strategy to life. 

As the successful candidate, you are someone who excels in a business ownership environment, enjoys working with many different teams, and seeks to leverage and understand insights to drive continuous improvements to program performance. 

Support the strategic development, planning, and activation of client Small Business events and additional marketing initiatives including: 
• Manage the development and execution of national and/or regional marketing event plans for the Mobility (national) and Wireline (West) business. 
• Work with stakeholders across client to ensure strategies align with overall organizational objectives. 
• Review and analyze event metrics, making changes as required to maximize event profitability and effectiveness 
• Adapt to and implement a fast fail approach that supports rapid learning and the ability to quickly scale up wins 
• Manage day to day contractual benefits with select client partnerships. 
• Support the development and creation of event and merchandise communications material. 
• Manage interaction with various design, event management/marketing & audio-visual agencies 
• Develop and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders (i.e. event solutions, product marketing, corporate communications, channel, marketing communications, segment marketing) 
• Perform administrative duties as required (budget tracking, event calendar maintenance, purchase orders, etc.)

Required Knowledge: 
• Solid understanding of marketing communication tactics and objectives 
• Expert in event planning and logistics 
• Knowledge of sponsorship/partnership rights & benefit management 
• General knowledge of social media tactics 
• Excellent knowledge of computer tools required for presentation and information sharing (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with a background in experiential marketing, events and sponsorship. 
• Telecommunications experience a bonus 
• Superior creative problem solving, strategic, critical thinking and analytical skills 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with superior interpersonal/leadership skills 
• Ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment without direct support on a daily basis 
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills are necessary 
• Must be able to schedule and manage multiple complex tasks 
• A people person with outstanding relationship development skills 
• Proficient in the use of MS Office based applications

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
