SCCM/Configuration Engineer responsible for assisting with the design, architecture, deployment, and operations of Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Management suite. Must deploy SCCM 2016 Current Branch for Patch Mngt and Asset Mngt. Both to local head office as to about 20 remote locations.

Main Accountabilities
•Using SCCM 2016 Current Branch deploy the asset management and security patch functionality throughout the organization (local and remote locations).
•Collaborate with the systems, network, and application development teams on enterprise IT projects and architecture changes
•Ensuring smooth implementation of new applications and changes to systems through sound testing procedures, capacity planning, and impact analyses
•Creating, maintaining, documenting, and communicating policies and procedures for infrastructure systems and core business applications

•Patch management
•Asset Management
•Be experienced in architecting, implementing, and maintaining the SCCM 2016 suite in large scale enterprise organizations. This can include, but not limited to:
•Application and packaging update deployments
•Orchestration integration packs
•Configuration file and registry management
•Reporting and auditing around all configuration items
•Have exposure to operationalizing tasks and responsibilities around SCCM. This can include but is not limited to:
•Handing off tasks to lower level teams
•Providing granular permissions for different team responsibilities
•Create actionable reports and provide associated training to staff members on remediation actions
•Have experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products
•Have strong scripting knowledge (Powershell) and an disposition towards automation whenever possible
•Have strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory
•Possess demonstrated networking skills including LAN, WAN
•Be able to multi-task and serve as a project lead or team player in a fast-paced environment
•Have the ability to manage multiple priorities
•Be a motivated self-started who can work independently on tasks and projects
•Possess a B.A. /B.S. in related field or an equivalent in education and experience with five (6) years’ experience working with central systems hardware and software, as well as basic project management
•Have a certification in an area of expertise (MCSE, MCSA, RHCE, VCP, etc.) preferred
