The successful candidate will join the Professional Services Engineer (PSE) team who manages the technical side of the implementation team for Client. Being highly engaged with internal teams and customers throughout the process of the technical installation to ensure it is successful. Working closely with Project Managers and Coordinators, the key tasks are to provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers, remotely supervise on site installs by field service vendors, complete remote tasks, and manage case queue. 

This is a crucial role within the organization, as we are expanding our footprint across Canada in the EMR Health market. 


Responsibilities: 
o Assist Project Managers with the technical components of an implementation 
o Ensure successful installation and “Go Live” services for clinics 
o Remotely supervise and support Field Service Partners during on sites with technical assistance 
o Provide direction and guidance to customers and team members to facilitate successful implementations and execution of best practice 
o Configure servers and manage server migrations 
o RSA SecureID token configurations and managing a queue 
o PS Suite Software components setup – including several add on services 
o Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues/resolving conflicts 
o Traveling onsite to client sites when needed 
o Staying proficient and following product knowledge, standard work instructions and procedures 
o Updating projects and cases with installation work performed 
o Weekend and evening work will be common

o Ability to work independently with in a team environment, work under pressure, and prioritize requests/workload is essential 
o Following standard process, knowing when to ask for help and using the correct channels.

o Quick learner, self-starter and accountable 
o Experience with a high paced, high volume workload 
o Thorough hardware knowledge ( ex. Servers, Routers, Switches, Workstations, Printers, and Scanners) 
o Strong OS background on Windows Server/desktop, Mac, and Win/Mac related software and processes 
o Solid understanding of TCP/IP and knowledge of basic networking concepts, devices and security 
o Previous EMR experience is an asset 



Qualifications and Education: 
o At least 3 years’ experience in a break fix role 
o Experience in I.T or project managing discipline or related experience 
o Hardware and Software certifications 



NOTE THAT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE FREQUENT WEEKEND AND EVENING WORK. Candidate must be prepared to work these hours.
