The Business Analyst role will support advancing the development and execution of clients’ media and entertainment strategy. Working with a diverse set of stakeholders, including marketing, product development, legal, and regulatory, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting negotiation, acquisition, and market intelligence of content, specifically multicultural content. Support will be across client platforms including TV, mobile, and broadband. The role’s objective will include hands-on experience on a variety of end-to-end initiatives that contribute directly to enable the Content strategy. 

The role will require the candidate to: 
• Leverage command of market knowledge to build, secure alignment, and execute an integrated multicultural content strategy. 
• Understand the competitive landscape (traditional and OTT) to quantify the threat of competitive developments and identify appropriate action/responses by client by working with a cross functional team 
• Facilitate requirements gathering & walkthroughs with internal/external stakeholders 
• Produce timely and high-quality requirements and support development of business justification cases as needed 
• Build and maintain consensus with multiple stakeholders around the content strategy 
• Contribute to the development of initiatives to establish best in class practices
• Document process flows for current/proposed processes to enable effective planning and understanding of resource impacts and timelines/deliverables 
• Develop reports and dashboards to continuously monitor content popularity in priority segments 

• Proven ability to make strategic recommendations on gap closure initiatives, secure alignment across the organization; 
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills 
• Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, meet tight deadlines and tolerate ambiguity 
• Understanding of client products, services and strategic direction; 
• Program management expertise 
• Ability to manage concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints in a fast paced, often pressured environment

• Business Analyst or related background & skills – 3-5 yrs. 
• Post-secondary education / degree preferred in media, project management or related field 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel/G Suite Sheets 
• Strong understanding and experience in Project Management 
• Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, and relationship building skills 
• Demonstrated project management and process improvement experience, including leading multiple, complex and/or concurrent initiatives 
• Adaptable to new situations and able to prioritize work as required 
• Demonstrated passion for growth, learning and continuous improvement
