Position Overview 

As a /Product Owner, you will create amazing digital experiences for our Client customers. In collaboration with multiple teams – user experience, development, testing, analytics, content strategy and marketing - you will implement and iterate on digital marketing campaigns to support customer research and purchase online. By managing the end-to-end life cycle of your diverse portfolio, you will ensure our site is always up to date and delivering a relevant and engaging experience. From coordinating TV content calendars through to segmentation strategies to launching time-sensitive offers, your breadth and depth of impact across the site means no day will ever be the same!

Responsibilities: 


Stakeholder management 
•Advocate strong digital integration with marketing stakeholders, collaborating with third-party agencies to craft content for telus.com that’s mobile-first, accessible and actionable 
•Prioritize and protect our product backlog to focus on initiatives that will generate high value for our customers and our business 

Planning 
•Become the single point of contact and owner of the activities in your portfolio 
•Develop time-bound online campaigns, identifying targets, crafting value propositions, and leveraging our segmentation strategies to achieve high engagement/conversion and strengthen awareness of product features 

Implementation and Deployment 
•Work with digital tools such as Adobe Test & Target, Domo and our Content Management System to implement campaigns and optimize the existing digital customer experience 
•Hands on collaboration to rapidly develop and prototype digital customer experiences 

Data-informed decision making 
•Evaluate campaigns’ performance, engagement and pipeline impact in order to optimize programs using analytical tools 
•Passionate about user experience and customer-centric campaign integration 
•Drive customer validation and ongoing continuous improvement (build, measure and test) 

Product and people management 
•Work with the dedicated cross-functional team members (design, copywriting, development, testing, analytics and marketing) to identify, document and deliver changes in an agile, lean delivery environment 
•Coordinate key milestones and timelines in order to manage iterative delivery for various initiatives simultaneously throughout each sprint cycle 
•Proactively work within the team to identify and prioritize risks and create plans to resolve in a timely manner 
•Collaborate with other portfolio owners to ensure interlock 


Required experience, knowledge & skills: 

•Product/program/project management skills 
•An understanding of digital marketing and merchandising 
•Excellent design sense and interpersonal skills with the ability to openly contribute and discuss ideas within a highly collaborative and cross-functional team 
•Knowledge and understanding of visual design and usability best practices 
•Excellent communication and presentation skills 
•An independent thinker and self-starter; able to work effectively within a fast paced and changing environment 
•Experience on a web/digital team is an asset, ideally leading the complete product/web development lifecycle from planning through to execution 
•Experience at an agency or marketing team, coordinating campaigns, ideally with a focus on segmentation and data-informed decision making 

It’s even better if you have: 
•Experience with agile and/or lean start-up processes, minimum viable product or agile approach to web development 
•Knowledge of responsive, mobile-first and web development processes 
•Experience analyzing and interpreting customer insights and data 


Required Professional Designation/Certification: 

A Bachelor Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Interactive Arts & Technology or similar
