Our client is looking for an Visual Designer to help us formalize and refine our design standards and guidelines that will help guide the art direction and interaction of the clients Design Systems.
Will help shape the end to end digital experience and provide consistency across all channels and platforms utilizing the clients Design System. 
Will be working with Product Owners, Design Strategists, and delivery teams to refine a set of guidelines that help teams create consistent user interfaces and use a common vocabulary to design customer experiences. 


Helping to define, create, and evolve the processes and guidelines for the clients Design Systems, and the visual design and interaction for the components within the system 
Promoting visual best practices on the application of the design system and taking feedback to aid in evolving it 
Maintaining assets that relate to the operation of the design system such as the Sketch file and Craft Libraries 
Assuring design details are implemented correctly using best practices and meeting the overall product vision 
Continually learning and growing your skills by understanding the visual design landscape and keeping up to date with the latest design trends, aesthetics and practices 
Helping to provide documentation and guidelines for the design system component libraries 
Helping to establish processes to help designers adopt and transition into using the design system 
Fostering great collaborative relationships with outcome teams using the clients Design Systems 
Promoting and evangelizing the clients Design systems within clients Digital and the community 


Hyper-focused on delivering great customer experiences aligned to business outcomes 
Able to easily articulate design logic and reasoning across multiple disciplines to build consensus 
Passionate about modern design practices and methodologies but flexible enough to think outside the box when required 
Versed in digital product development lifecycles in a highly-collaborative, lean, agile environment 
Highly detail oriented and organized 
Comfortable with industry standard design toolsets including Sketch, InVision, Google Suite… plus whiteboard, pen, paper and stickies! 
Familiar with accessibility (WCAG 2.0) best practices and able to design products with inclusivity in mind 

Must to have skills:
1. Mastery of formal elements of visual communication such as contrast, scale, color, rhythm, and typography – and how these are best utilized within digital experiences.
2. Collaboration and communication skills required to facilitate, present and generate ideas across stakeholder and peer groups
3. Fluency across UX spectrum: human factors, usability heuristics, concept sketching, wireframes, information architecture

Nice to have skills:
1. Strategic strengths required to initiate and design a clear and consistent digital user experience
2. Passion/awareness for current design aesthetics and design trends (e.g. responsive)
