Our client is currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Manager, Plant Operations the successful candidate will be accountable for coordinating new materials for outside plan construction activities 
Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate the materials needed to complete outside plant construction
  • Work with the various warehouses and the NDC on shipments 
  • Track shipments and ensure arrival schedule
  • Work with various parties to check stock and ensure special order requirements are processed separately 
  • Make recommendations for special orders 
  • Assist in establishing recording and documentation processes
  • Collating of data from various regions
  • Producing reports as required. 
  • Various other duties as required
 
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in processing material and equipment requests 
  • Experience in setting up and establishing processes. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in garnering information from various sources to produce reports
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Experience working with excel required, Oracle would be advantageous. 
  • Goal oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work well within a team environment
  • Adaptive, quick learner, exceptional organization and reporting skills with the ability to have attention to detail while multi-tasking
We are looking for candidate to work from Vancouver office location
