The Marketing Automation Manager will provide support and guidance to our demand generation marketing primes by providing analysis of behavioral and profile data and facilitating the adoption of best practices as a key member of the BSW Marketing Campaigns team. This individual will assist in developing scalable processes for building data driven marketing campaigns focused on lead, customer activity (such as events, content downloads etc), and funnel management while working with marketing teams to focus on Lead to Revenue Management through the implementation of marketing automation and demand generation best practices from a data and analytics and customer behavior perspective. This individual will supply industry-best practices for marketing analysis and track and manage portfolio performance. They will work independently to provide peer training and lead strategy review meetings, serve as project manager for complex new campaign implementations and execute ad-hoc consulting projects for the team. 

The ideal candidate may come from either a functional or technical background as well as skills and experience in modern marketing. He / she should possess technical experience with strong marketing automation skills. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Work with marketing and sales stakeholders in planning and executing automated marketing campaigns 
• Meet with internal clients to define and articulate business requirements and architect complex solutions , partnering with Marcom and our CRM teams. 
• Create a standard of excellence (best practices) in email and marketing automation, while ensuring adoption across various stakeholders 
• Provide training to BSW marketing team members 
• Work closely with the technical and data support team to refine and develop new processes, functionality, and system integrations when required 
• Implement and support front end technology questions regarding HTML emails, landing pages, etc. from templates while incorporating industry best practices 
• Manage data including segmentation and reporting, testing, cleansing and optimization, including the creation and maintenance of campaign dashboard in collaboration with Marcom / CRM teams 
• Develop and execute testing and optimization strategies to improve email metrics 
• Assist marketing stakeholders with customer contact strategies to deepen the customer relationship and increase sales opportunities and then execute on these campaigns. 

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant marketing experience 
• 2+ years of modern marketing or marketing automation experience 
• Experience working with Pardot (or other enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua, SilverPop, etc.) 
• Experience with SalesForce.com lead management is an asset 
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript 
• Strong knowledge/experience with Excel 
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly 
• Must be able to take a problem-solving approach to business challenges 
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines 
• Ability to plan and manage projects involving cross-functional teams 
• Must be able to work and collaborate with different levels of management – from managers, to directors, and VPs 
• Strong written and oral communication skills
