Primary Responsibilities:
Accountable for strategic design and implementation of financial governance framework, core processes (including financial management, funding draw-down and change request processes), and driving adoption and adherence to ensure robust control and consistency in execution across the ACE Program.
• Manage all ACE Program financials, analysis and executive reporting together with leading critical financial assignments such as fiscal and 5 year planning to ensure alignment with Macro PAR. Primary contributor for design and presentation of program level financial reporting to ACE Leadership and Executives makes strategic recommendations for decisions when appropriate.
• Accountable for early identification and escalation with mitigation/decision recommendations for financial related risks and issues impeding the ACE Program, managing and presenting scenario based analysis to ACE PMO Head, ACE Program Leadership, and Executives.
• Accountable for managing key stakeholder partnerships with functions such as I&TS Finance and T&O Finance to define and execute process of costing and recovery for ACE Program and Operations and IT Risk teams to identify and monitor core program risks.
• Responsible for management of ACE Program cost control to drive appropriate governance oversight program wide for invoice, SOW, Beeline and EPPM processes. Challenge ACE Leadership on spend provide alternate cost saving options and provide pre-authorisation of program spend prior to Executive approvals where appropriate.
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) for program financial tools used within the ACE Program such as Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), MIS, Beeline and other key tools leading training and adoption oversight to ACE Program staff.
• Dotted line oversight of the I&TS PMO Project Financial Management Manager to ensure shared best practice and governance adoption across the broader I&TS project portfolio outside of the ACE Program.
• Act as regional escalation for Toronto-based ACE PMO team members to provide proactive and timely resolution of issues or roadblocks, and strategic decision making with escalation to ACE PMO Head as appropriate.
• Acts as lead response to any ACE PMO related activities, prior to escalation to ACE PMO Head when required.

• 5+ years’ experience in a project financial focused role.
• In-depth knowledge in program financials and reporting processes.
• Ability to lead and make sound financial-based recommendations to executives.
• Individual contributor as well as strong team-player.
• Proven analytical and consulting skills and strong quantitative background.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• High attention to detail and process-driven.
• Service partner oriented and solution focused.
• Ability to understand management ideas/needs and convert into something tangible, transforming theory into reality.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.

• Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or mathematics or equivalent experience
• Expert with MS Office with particular focus on MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
