Position Overview: 
Client Health Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst. In this position you will: 

• Serve as the key conduit to business stakeholders for solution requirements and analysis, and to work with solution architects / delivery team members to define and manage requirements for a set of components 
• Gather using appropriate strategies business, functional and non-functional requirements in adherence to the standard methodology; provide business and application expertise, 
• Document and maintain the Requirements and present to all impacted stakeholders 
• Support and provide inputs to test strategies and planning 
• Perform impact analysis on incoming service/support requests and assist with estimating work requests 
• Participate in development of implementation strategies and plans, review detailed design specifications, 
• Author user documentation and support training as needed 
• Expected to be able to attend meetings and be comfortable working with various levels within stakeholder organizations

Responsibilities: 
• Work with business users to analyze their business needs and identify the business requirements 
• Work effectively with the development team to resolve the business need with an appropriate solution that will meet the business requirements 
• Requirements communication to various stakeholder groups 
• Prepare needed documentation 
• Business Requirements 
• Software Requirements Specification – Functional, non-Functional and Transition, using appropriate BSA modeling techniques, like; 
• Use Cases 
• User Stories 
• Supporting the testing / quality processes 
• Develop strong relationships with other component teams and business stakeholders 

Required Knowledge: 
• Background in health Claim Processing knowledge is an asset 
• Background with adjudication rules (Deductible, Coinsurance, Maximums), Health Care Spending Accounts is an asset 
• Analytical thinking and applying BSA techniques to problem solving 
• Requirements analysis 
• Business Process Modelling 
• Requirements management 
• IT Methodologies: Waterfall, Agile 
• MS Office: Visio, Excel, Word 
Required Skills & Abilities: 
• Personal Organization skills that can manage work effort to provide quality service in a productive and cost effective manner 
• Communication skills to express ideas in ways that are appropriate to the target audience 
• Interaction skills for effective facilitation and negotiation 
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities 

Required Professional Designation/Certification: 
• University degree in computer science or equivalent work experience 
• CCBA or CBAP certification an asset
