We are looking for an amazing Recruiter who is passionate about sourcing, identifying and hiring top talent.  The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment initiatives for a spectrum of positions across the company in all locations, including but not limited to sourcing, assessing and selecting top talent, building an active pipeline of candidates and coaching and supporting managers in policies, best practices and standards in alignment with the vision and strategies of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage the talent acquisition process from start to candidate selection:  developing position profiles, sourcing qualified applicants, screening applicants, coordinate the scheduling of and conducting interviews, checking references and evaluating applicant qualifications
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent – both passive and active – using a variety of internal and external resources
  • Maintaining a pipeline of candidates using effective sourcing strategies
  • Experience with recruiting in both Canada as well as the US
  • Measure performance, analyze metrics and report Key Performance Indicators to senior management team on a regular basis
  • Ensure the recruitment and selection process meets all federal and state legislative requirements, including Employment Equity, AODA and Human Rights and provides training on hiring processes/practices to hiring managers
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ full life cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience with recruiting in Canada and the US
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles
  • Strong sourcing, networking and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skillsets in local and other markets
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service; experience providing recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong client service orientation, results oriented, multitasking and strong sense of urgency
  • Strong MS Office skills
