Client is currently looking for an experienced professional to fill a Regional Market Manager position for a 12 month contract position. The Regional Market Manager will work within a team and be responsible for executing the ground game for a local market strategy. This person will also identify and evaluate new initiatives and review existing programs required to support client ’s marketing strategies to drive penetration in the target markets. This role is unique in that there is a key component of building relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to client . Responsibilities: 
Execute on market strategy to increase penetration of client products/services in target markets; be prepared to trial different approaches to uncover the optimal method 
Responsible and accountable to execute many marketing events – these events may take place during evenings and weekends 
Understand the community landscape and be a champion for a community-centered marketing approach in working with key stakeholders from across the business 
Partner with various sales channels to facilitate sales – this may include going door to door to provide education and awareness of client products and services to customers 

Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
• Track record of collaborations leveraging internal and external stakeholder relationships • Demonstrate influence and strategy skills; planning and promotion • Proven ability to make strategic recommendations on gap closure initiatives, secure alignment and budget 
• Confidently present ideas to executive leadership • Proven risk management and conflict resolution skills • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication and presentation skills • Fluent in Punjabi and/or Hindi is an asset - Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, meet tight deadlines and tolerate ambiguity • Program management • Desire to "roll up your sleeves" to get things done • Ability to travel across the city to execute events and activities within your assigned communities (car is required) • Flexible in your work schedule as part of the role is evenings and weekends 

Required Professional Designation/Certification & Experience: 
• A degree or equivalent marketing and business experience is required. • 2+ years progressive experience in Marketing, Sales and Business positions • Telecom/industry experience and exposure to a variety of marketing roles would be beneficial

Must have skills:
1. Strong communication skills and ability to work front-line. The role is 70-80% customer facing; whether at events or presenting at community centres;
2. Marketing knowledge and experience
3. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
4. Desire to “role up your sleeves” to get things done
5. Flexible in work schedule as a good part of the role is evenings and weekend
6. Ability to make recommendations for local market strategy
 
Nice to have skills
1. 2nd language – Punjabi or Hindi would be beneficial not necessary
2. Telecom/industry experience
3. Program management
