Apply to Project Manager - Engineering
Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000/year

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts while considering commercial, technical, legal, and regulatory requirements, and track progress as per the client’s product development process.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.

Lead project kick-off meetings and establish communication plans.

Coordinate all phases of project execution from concept through commissioning.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as required.

Manage project change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

Conduct regular project review meetings and provide status reports.

Prepare and present project status reports to leadership.

Manage customer expectations regarding scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

Coordinate communication between internal departments.

Identify project risks, maintain risk and issue logs, implement risk mitigation strategies, and report/escalate issues to management as needed.

Adhere to the client’s Environmental, Health & Safety Policies, Quality Management System, and organizational procedures.

Ensure proper project documentation is maintained and support project audits.

Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Post-secondary engineering or other technical degree.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience managing and/or leading multiple complex technical projects.

Experience managing engineering projects is preferred.

PMP or other Project Management certification is a strong asset.

Deep understanding of project management tools, techniques, and best practices.

Experience applying project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and visual management.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Recent and relevant experience with management systems.

Basic understanding of business principles and contracts.

Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly and grasp unfamiliar technical concepts.

Strong leadership, influence, and motivational skills.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment and influence across the organization.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

Fluent in English.

Prior experience in the nuclear industry or other high-reliability, regulated environments.

Prior experience managing engineering projects and/or a technical engineering background.

Occasional overtime to meet project requirements.
