Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Test Specialist / Quality Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have strong experience testing digital applications and working closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional and regression testing.
• Develop and execute test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and business logic.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform API testing using REST and SOAP.
• Identify, document, and report software defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to develop effective test scenarios.
• Analyze the impact of new functionality and system changes and update test plans accordingly.
• Track defect resolution and validate fixes through appropriate testing.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvement.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, quality, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Tester, QA Engineer, Quality Analyst, or Test Specialist.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual functional and regression testing.
• Proven experience with SIT and UAT.
• Strong REST and SOAP API testing experience.
• Experience with QTest, Tosca, and Jira.
• Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum, preferably SAFe.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB or other software testing certification is an asset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing digital applications and enterprise integrations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Test Specialist with strong manual testing, API testing, and defect management experience. Candidates who can demonstrate practical experience with QTest, Tosca, Jira, REST/SOAP APIs, SIT, UAT, SQL, and Agile/SAFe environments will be highly preferred.
