Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage projects, ensuring delivery within budget and scheduled timelines.
- Manage communications and stakeholder expectations, including project change requests based on risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
- Coordinate team members to gather requirements and develop effort estimates for proposals.
- Provide project oversight and coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
- Interact directly with clients and manage relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Ensure adherence to client and internal technical standards and guidelines.
- Develop and execute project plans for multiple small- to medium-sized initiatives.
- Create and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- Govern quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions and complete formal project closure activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with external clients, internal stakeholders, senior management, and staff (8+ years).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences (8+ years).
- Diplomatic, articulate communication style with strong active listening skills (8+ years).
- Experience managing application development and IT infrastructure projects using industry best practices (8+ years).
- Client-facing experience (8+ years).
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and self-driven approach (8+ years).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a flexible and open-minded attitude (8+ years).
- Project management, oversight, and coordination experience (8+ years).
- Project-level reporting and status reporting experience (6+ years).
- Experience leading estimation exercises and reviewing team estimates (4+ years).
- Experience leading meetings and facilitating consensus (6+ years).
- Hands-on experience in a structured application maintenance environment (8+ years).
- Experience working within formal processes and methodologies in maintenance environments (5+ years).
- Experience using AI tools and leading teams that use AI tools.
- PMP certification.
- Experience and knowledge of web-based applications (3+ years).
- Experience with public-facing applications and application support (3+ years).
- Experience working with the public sector (3+ years).
