Location: Edmonton, Alberta – Remote

Working Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM Alberta Time (MT)

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a QA Automation Developer to join a cross-functional Agile delivery team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions to support high-quality, enterprise-scale digital services.

Top 3 Skills

QA Test Automation using Cypress or Playwright
Selenium WebDriver and Node.js/NPM automation frameworks
CI/CD Integration and Git-based source control

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions.
Support UI, API, regression, integration, and system testing.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Work with Agile delivery teams to support test planning and execution.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Contribute to quality reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support testing for enterprise-scale systems and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with QA test automation using Cypress or Playwright.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with Node.js/NPM automation frameworks.
Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Git-based source control.
Experience with UI, API, regression, integration, and system testing.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and test planning.
Experience with defect management and quality reporting.
Ability to work with enterprise-scale systems and modernization initiatives.
Availability to work during Alberta business hours.

Remote position supporting the Alberta/Edmonton location.
