Description:
 
The role is an individual contributor position embedded in the customer’s organization, working closely with their technical and operational teams to ensure network performance, stability, and delivery of planned activities. The engineer will report directly into the customer’s designated manager while adhering to Ericsson technical standards, processes, and best practices. The role is expected to uphold Ericsson’s values and standards while aligning day-to-day activities with the customer’s operational needs and objectives.
 
Main Tasks:
  • Support the customer’s RAN network (LTE & NR) through planning, configuration, integration, and optimization activities
  • Execute network changes (e.g., parameter updates, feature activation, software upgrades) in accordance with approved change management processes.
  • Participate in network rollout, expansion, and modernization projects, supporting design reviews, integration plans, and acceptance testing.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including implementation plans, configuration records, work logs, and post-change reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, planning, field teams, vendors) to ensure effective end-to-end delivery of network activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, suggesting automation or standardization opportunities, and sharing best practices.


Technical competence:
  • Working experience in RAN LTE & NR
  • Experience testing Ericsson radio products (SW and HW) in a lab environment and in the customer live network
  • Good knowledge of RF Optimization principles and main RF parameters
  • Good knowledge of RF Design principles
  • Capable of RAN Troubleshooting, to differentiate between configuration issues and SW issues
  • Good understanding of the RAN Integration process
