Job Description (English)
Overview
- Responsible for providing courier services and supporting print production operations within a customer location.
- Perform multiple daily mail runs using a customer-provided vehicle.
- Assist with printing, finishing, and production activities as workload permits.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Hold and maintain a valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Maintain a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Operate a customer-provided delivery van safely and professionally.
- Complete multiple mail runs throughout the day.
- Deliver printer/copier consumables, print orders, and paper supplies.
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
- Coordinate required vehicle maintenance.
- Set up and operate finishing equipment used to cut, fold, gather, and complete printed materials.
- Operate binding and finishing equipment including paper cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers.
- Wrap, package, label, and ship finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Clean and maintain production equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
- Operate digital print equipment.
- Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs.
- Track, store, and manage customer print jobs for future reuse.
- Maintain production logs and billing-related information.
- Monitor and replenish production supplies.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Experience in a customer service environment (6 months to 1 year).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary technology training or related experience preferred.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Black & White and Colour Printers.
- Paper Cutters.
- Paper Drills.
- Auto Punch and Auto Coiler equipment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate finishing and binding equipment.
- Ability to operate centralized digital print equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic math skills including multiplication, division, and percentages.
- Proficiency using PC applications in a networked environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
