  • Develop RF exposure mitigation measures, including signage, access restrictions, barriers, exclusion areas, antenna relocation, height changes, power limitations, or configuration changes.
  • Determine whether changes to antennas, radios, power, frequency, height, azimuth, tilt, or site geometry require an SC6 revision.
  • Review SC6 surveys, installation records, antenna photographs, height measurements, and azimuth-orientation reports.
  • Validate the installed configuration against the approved SC6 report and RF design.
  • Review SC6 work produced by Ericsson teams, subcontractors, and third-party engineering providers.
  • Resolve technical comments, customer rejections, compliance issues, and cross-document discrepancies.
  • Maintain engineering calculations, assumptions, review records, revision history, approval evidence, and professional-authentication records.
  • Support professional engineering reviews, audits, corrective actions, and quality-management activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to SC6 analysts and RF engineers.
  • Support root-cause analysis for rejected reports and recurring quality issues.
  • Monitor first-time-right performance, defects, rework, review compliance, and report cycle time.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Active Professional Engineer, P.Eng., registration with a Canadian provincial or territorial engineering regulator.
  • Active registration with APEGA, EGBC, or both is strongly required for work performed in Alberta and British Columbia.
  • Ability to obtain additional provincial registration where required by the assigned work.

  • Experience reviewing RF planning specifications, Final Cell Designs, civil drawings, surveys, and as-built documentation.
  • Ability to independently assess engineering work produced by internal teams and third-party engineering organizations.
  • Strong technical-writing, calculation, quality-review, and document-control skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active P.Eng. registration with both APEGA and EGBC.
  • Experience supporting a Permit to Practice or professional engineering quality-management system.
  • Experience authenticating professional work products or validating engineering documents.
  • Experience reviewing engineering work produced by subcontractors or outsourced engineering organizations.
  • Experience with Canadian wireless operators and Canadian RF exposure requirements.
  • Experience with Rogers network configurations, RF standards, and SC6 requirements.
  • Experience with RF exposure or electromagnetic-field modelling tools.
  • Experience with macro towers, rooftops, utility-owned sites, colocation sites, multibeam antennas, canister antennas, and active antenna systems.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson radios, AIR products, antennas, and baseband configurations.
