emergiTEL is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our client in the Pulp & Paper industry. This is a Permanent role.
Location: Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Mill – Corner Brook, Newfoundland, CA

Salary range: $100,000-$120,000

Overview:
- Responsible for the day-to-day execution of all maintenance activities in the mill.
- Supervises members of the mechanical trades team.
- Adhere to and promote company safety and environmental policies.
- Coach and support the maintenance team on leadership values and work assignments.
- Ensure equipment availability and reliability through preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
- Participate in team-based problem-solving initiatives to address operational issues.
- Maintain accurate work history documentation within the Maintenance Management System.
- Support and monitor departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or a Red Seal certification in a relevant trade.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a pulp and paper environment is considered an asset.
- Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Technology experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Successful candidate must provide a Certificate of Conduct from a local police agency or the RCMP prior to employment.
