emergiTEL is hiring a Furniture Specialist (Contract) for our client ATB Financial. This is a Contract role.
Location: Calgary, AB
Job Description 

• Coordinate technical specification, budget estimation, procurement, and disposition of all furniture assets
• Optimize use of existing inventory across sites and storage to maximize asset reuse
• Manage end-to-end procurement including vendor quotes, purchase orders, and tracking long-lead items
• Serve as the primary technical expert for systems furniture workstations, ensuring integration with electrical, data, and building infrastructure
• Oversee selection, procurement, placement, and installation of signage, accessories, and artwork
• Apply brand standards and maintain consistency while staying current with furniture industry trends
• Conduct site visits to ensure installations meet standards, building codes, and safety regulations
• Coordinate logistics, move planning, and delivery schedules in active business environments
• Develop and maintain furniture drawings for integration into IWMS systems
• Maintain a standardized library of furniture symbols and ensure drawing compliance
• Prepare evacuation floor plans in accordance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure accuracy in drawings, specifications, and pricing
• Translate business objectives and brand into functional furniture and spatial solutions
• Apply human-centric design principles including accessibility, neurodiversity, and wellness considerations
• Engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align project outcomes
• Create 2D plans and 3D renderings for visualization prior to procurement
• Perform FF&E budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering
• Make informed technical decisions to support project success
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for precise drawing production
