emergiTEL is hiring a Rack Level Integration Engineer for our client in the semiconductor / high‑tech industry. This is a Permanent role.
Compensation: USD $130,000 – $196,300 / year
Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States (Onsite)
Job Description (English)

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex rack‑level integration projects across multiple engineering domains.
• Validate and integrate the Marvell Photonic Fabric and all components within advanced AI compute racks.
• Integrate all hardware and software elements within AI compute racks, ensuring compatibility, connectivity, and optimal performance.
• Set up, test, and qualify complete rack solutions to ensure they meet or exceed stringent performance, reliability, and efficiency standards.
• Integrate and configure smart Power Distribution Units (PDUs) to manage power distribution effectively within the rack.
• Maintain a deep understanding of rack‑level management functions, including monitoring, control, and automation of critical rack components.
• Perform hands‑on lab racking and stacking, including assembly and setup of complex, high‑touch rack configurations.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all rack‑level integrations.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including design engineers, program managers, customers, and vendors.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in rack‑level integration.
• Strong understanding of AI compute rack architectures and integrated components (servers, accelerators, switches, power, cooling).
• Proven experience with rack‑level management functions and integration best practices.
• Proficiency in Mechanical and Thermal CAD tools.
• Demonstrated experience testing and qualifying rack‑level solutions against performance and reliability benchmarks.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating rack‑level optical interconnects or optical backplanes.
• Experience working in a high‑tech or semiconductor company environment.
• Exposure to large‑scale AI or HPC infrastructure.
