This role is located in Downtown Montreal (3x/week on-site)
Pay Rate: ~CAD $100-$110/h INC
About the Role
This role will report to the Director - Mill Applications, Wood Products and Enterprise Data.
We are seeking for ‘Manager’ level, that can manage a team of 12 individuals in the Data and Reporting space. The current team is composed of:
- Data Architect (1)
- BI Developer (3)
- BI Analysts (3)
- BW Analyst (2)
- BI Administrator (1)
- BI Technical Lead (1)
- Data Platform Analyst (1)
Our current footprint/IT landscape is composed of various data and reporting technologies. Some of the principal technologies relevant for this role are:
- SAP Business Warehouse
- SAP Business Objects
- Tableau
- Snowflake
- Power BI
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- - Oversee Incident Management and adhere to defined SLA’s and processes
- Oversee Enhancement Requests and adhere to defined SLA’s and processes
- Oversee Problem Management and adhere to defined SLA’s and processes
- Understand project objectives and influence the approach/design as it relates to Data and Reporting
- Understand project objectives and identify resource needs to execute. Propose backfills where required to maintain steady state operations
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders to prioritize work requests and manage its execution to ensure on-time delivery with high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with IT Peers to ensure IT standards and guiding principles are maintained
- Set ‘SMART’ objectives for the team and manage their performance
- Managed Operational budget
- Manage third party-consultants from an administrative and task point of view
- Be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert in the Enterprise Data and Reporting space
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Management using SAP BW/BO
- Including data governance, data quality, data visualization, integration and security with PowerBI and Snowflake
Nice to Have
- Bilingual (French/English)
