Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting -Hybrid
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our clients Financial Reporting team. This role is responsible for supporting the preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, while providing insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Close
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
- US GAAP methodologies
Analysis & Insights
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior periods) and provide clear commentary
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain financial models to support reporting and planning activities
Consolidation & Reporting Packages
- Prepare and distribute consolidated financial reporting packages for leadership
- Support internal management reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Enhance reporting dashboards and improve visibility into financial performance
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts
- Collaborate with business partners to understand key drivers and assumptions
- Monitor financial performance against plans and recommend adjustments as needed
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with finance teams and business stakeholders to explain financial results
- Provide insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from leadership
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and controls
- Support system enhancements and automation initiatives
- Maintain data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or FP&A
- Experience with US GAAP
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial consolidations
- Exposure to large or multi-entity environments
- Experience building dashboards (e.g., Power BI or similar tools)

Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 per year + Full Benefits, based on experience, qualifications, and scope of the engagement.
