CRM Executive – Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist

Pay Rate: $35–$40/hour


Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented CRM Executive to support the end-to-end execution of email and SMS campaigns. This role will focus on campaign planning, building, QA, and deployment within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality CRM communications.


Must-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) – including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Content Builder
  • Strong SQL skills for audience segmentation and data manipulation
  • Experience building and deploying email/SMS campaigns end-to-end, including QA and optimization

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning, Build & Execution

  • Develop and modify email templates using HTML and AMPScript
  • Build and deploy ad-hoc and journey-based email and SMS campaigns in SFMC
  • Manage and maintain the CRM campaign calendar, adapting to changing priorities
  • Ensure timely, error-free campaign launches across channels
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (brand, journey, call center, commercial teams) for approvals
  • Act as liaison for creative, copy, URL validation, and legal approvals

Data, Quality & Optimization

  • Partner with data teams for audience segmentation and list creation
  • Analyze campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions) and provide optimization insights
  • Conduct QA checks including rendering, link validation, and cross-device testing

Systems & Process Management

  • Set up, test, and launch campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Support internal approval workflows (e.g., DocuSign routing)
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and communication regulations

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on CRM campaign execution experience
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio)
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
  • Experience with AMPScript for dynamic personalization
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development and troubleshooting
  • Experience with campaign automation and workflow management
  • Understanding of email deliverability best practices and segmentation hygiene
  • Familiarity with GDPR, CASL, and data privacy standards
  • Experience in multi-channel marketing environments (email, SMS)
  • CPG or global organization experience is an asset
