This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all plant equipment while leading a skilled team of maintenance professionals.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all plant equipment while leading a skilled team of maintenance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, planners, and trades
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptime and reduce downtime
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities
- Partner with operations to optimize production efficiency and equipment reliability
- Manage maintenance budgets, shutdowns, and capital projects
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, RCA)
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in:
- OSB / wood products / sawmills OR
- Pulp & paper / heavy industrial manufacturing
- Strong background in reliability and asset management
- Experience managing unionized teams is a strong asset
- Proven leadership in high-volume, continuous process environments
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
